About the Opportunity

Chrisnelsa EV/HEV Training Centre invites applications from passionate, committed, and technically inclined Auto Electrical Technician for its Electric and Hybrid Vehicle (EV/HEV) Workshop. This position offers hands-on technical training and mentorship aimed at developing future-ready EV/HEV technicians in support of South Africa’s green mobility transition.
This position is ideal for candidates who hold a motor auto electrical or mechatronics qualification (s) with 1-2 years work experience.

Programme Objectives

• Provide structured on-the-job training in EV/HEV diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
• Develop workplace readiness and technical confidence in high-voltage environments
• Support candidates in acquiring industry-recognised certifications (e.g., IMI Level 2 training)

Minimum Requirements

• N6 Certificate, National Diploma in:
  Motor Electrical
  Automotive Engineering
  Mechatronics
  Automotive Electronics or similar
• Completed practical/work-integrated learning (where applicable)
• South African citizen, preferably under the age of 30
