For a country’s society to fully accept electric vehicles, the country’s emergency services in
particular must also be fully involved and optimally trained so that they can meet the new
challenge with professionalism and routine. Lucas-Nuelle has developed a unique training
concept for first responders. The learning bundle contains perfectly tailored hardware that can
be used to acquire important skills for a real rescue mission. The accompanying eLearning
course supports the hardware and provides all the necessary information about rescue cards,
dealing with burning HV batteries, methods for shutting down the HV system, damaged cars
and much more! Perfectly rounding off this package are the integrated accident scenarios. For
example, a HV battery that is heating up can be simulated, which the rescue forces can
capture with a thermal camera and thus optimally assess the situation in order to initiate
appropriate countermeasures immediately.
